Thunder's Mouth Theatre are delighted to present: a whole new comic drama of the audio fiction variety, to be broadcast via the podcast medium as a limited series
"Baked Off!" follows the lives of a group of would-be home-bakers based in England and Scotland, who meet up for a regular online baking class under the tutelage of a retired Australian chef in Brisbane, Australia.
Over the course of eight fully scripted (20-30 minutes) episodes, we learn about their lives, work and family relationships, as they are learning how to make sourdough bread.
Each week they strive, fail and strive better, supporting and challenging themselves and each other as their private lives take unexpected twists and turns.
The script is complete, (written by Flloyd Kennedy, writer/creator of "Am I Old Yet?"), the cast - some of them you will know from "Am I Old Yet?" - are standing by to record. All we need is your support and encouragement to provide the team with appropriate financial recompense for their amazingly talented contributions.

Stretching and folding the dough to strengthen and empower it - or, in our case, editing, re-recording, adding and subtracting as we go to get a highly polished episode for your entertainment. You have early access to the episodes, and if you give us your address we will send you a personalised postcard to update you with news from our process.
The dough is in a nice warm place, slowly increasing in size. We all take a well-earned rest... NO! Of course we don't, we add in John's lovely catchy theme tune, and musical interludes. Give us your address, and you will receive a packet of stickers as well as all the previous rewards.
The final shaping and proving, in preparation for the bake. The oven is hot, the cast iron lidded pot awaits. The shaped dough is turned out, slashed with a sharp knife to allow steam to escape, placed in the pot, and into the oven.
