[Beth & Angel] Join our Patreon (for free!) to enter two giveaways. Expires 8 pm

Hi! I'll put out a full update later (maybe even tomorrow lol I'm way behind on work right now), but I just wanted to give everyone one more opportunity to join our Patreon and enter our giveaways.

The Giveaways

There are two giveaways:

1. About 50 zines we made before February
2. All of our Zineuary zines (which will be a minimum of 28: 16 in February and then three 4-zine extensions)

These are PHYSICAL collections that will be mailed worldwide, so it doesn't matter where you live. As long as you can join our Patreon (for free or paid), you can enter! And if you're already a patron, you're already in!

Sometime after 8pm Eastern tonight we'll pick both winners from our list of patrons. These will be two different people. There is NO added chance if you pay for your membership.

The first prize will go out soon, whereas the second will go out after all of the Zineuary zines are done (hopefully toward the end of this month).

About Quirky Bird Games' Patreon

Quirky Bird Games is made of Angel and I plus Carla Kopp, who's taken a bit of a break from the team for the last several months. Many of you may know her as the owner, developer, publisher, and all-around awesome person who runs Weird Giraffe Games, but she makes uplifting and awesome TTRPGs too!

Patreon is our main community. All of our posts are free aside from some Enlightened Egret-exclusive polls; we love sharing what we learn and our experiences.

Our Patreon is mostly made up of the following:

1. New releases: We share when a game or zine is released, and we typically talk about our inspirations and important decisions made. ALL OF OUR CREATIONS ARE FREE WHEN THEY RELEASE OR HAVE COMMUNITY COPIES so if you know when a game comes out and you're quick enough, you can get it for free!
2. News and updates: When something happens, we share it. For example, last month we had our Spanish translation of Everyday Enchanter. I also had an awesome person named Luis (who joined our stream on the 29th too!) offer to translate some of our zines to help promote the campaign. We were too busy then but I'll be reaching out to have that done sometime soon. 
3. Monthly recaps: Each month we recap what happened that month: all of our releases, goal updates, events, etc. I write a lot in them lol but you can pick and choose parts to read, or just skim the month's releases! I make sure that's easy to do :D
4. Future plans: I love game jams, and I love encouraging others to make stuff, so I often share the jams I'm interested in. The Hyper 1 HOUR Game Jams (here's a playlist of the ones we've entered) and Ludum Dare (here's our latest Ludum Dare post) are our favorites! 
5. RETURNING: Streaming notifications: We LOVED our 8-hour stream of making zines on the 29th and want to do more! We used to stream a lot, just playing games on BGA or doing panels and gamedev. We'll share when we have plans to go live (or just hop on and go live without any planning).

If you're a patron at any tier (including free) you'll get emails when these happen, and you can comment! I always love hearing from people, it reminds me that I'm not shouting into a void lol. It's not obligated though of course :D

Free Patrons vs Paid Patrons

Whether you're a free or paid patron, you get all of the following:

• Emails of all of our posts: you never have to go to patreon.com at all!
• At least one free game or zine each month emailed to your inbox. In fact, thanks to goals being hit, you'll get FOUR in March instead of one!
• You can comment on our posts!
• All of the free games from last month emailed to you when you join (right now it's Flawesome).

Our paid patrons also get everything we released over the last two months (all of our zines, 17 in total, for $3/month Zebra Finch Zinesters; ALL of our releases, 23 in total, for $5/month Gaming Geese) and everything that qualifies while you're a member, too. Paid patrons can also send us messages (although Patreon says in the future free patrons will be able to too).

And Enlightened Egrets ($10/month) get exclusive access to monthly polls, a Discord channel, and provide 5 community copies for each new release with your name right on the page in random order (as shown below).
