[Beth & Angel] 13th-16th Prompt, More Streaming, A Lil Zine Progress

🏃 Progress: 11 zines down, 13 zines behind

I've finished a zine and gotten one to the first draft stage (it's about dad jokes and needs more dad jokes and puns in it)! Angel has been working on zines too and is close to finishing another of her own. So while these numbers went in the wrong direction, we're working on fixing that :D And I'm still very hopeful we can finish by the end of March, especially with a regular streaming schedule now.

Streaming

We've streamed a few times and had some awesome people with us each time so far! We've also gotten some great help from our viewers, and having a time scheduled to work on zines has been very effective so far for making progress. 

I created a schedule of our upcoming streams that you can find in your time zone right here. This should be the case weekly until I catch up, but they're subject to change: we may start and/or end early or late, and might even cancel some.

I went into a bit of detail about what my goals with the streams are in this post.

Character studies of mundane objects you own suggested by Eliza!

This is another prompt I'm really excited about, and it's the second prompt from Eliza! I LOVE deep dives into objects, whether they're magical or just ordinary things. And this is a perfect mirror to another of our prompts about a cursed item you find at a flea market (I'm working on that zine now)! 

Plus, this'll be another great addition to our prompt listing as it'll be another type of zine to make: a perzine about objects! That's certainly something I never expected to make, but I'm hyped to do it!

🔎 Now Crowdfunding: Cozy Quests Collection 1 by Dice Guardians

It actually took me a while to find this lol. I don't know anyone running a campaign that I haven't shared already, and Crowdfundr didn't have any games crowdfunding that I saw, so I ran to BackerKit and then Kickstarter and finally found this. It's SO CUTE!

It's a "rules agnostic TTRPG of silly side quests and delightful diversions, filled with quirky characters, odd objects, and pleasant puzzles!" I love things like that where you can use things with any system, especially since that also generally includes the systems you find on Itch for free and stuff! 

Plus, seriously, the page is SO DARN CUTE!

It's $10 to get it digitally and $15 physically. How do you say no to that if you're a TTRPG player?

Angel: I like nonstandard crusts. I used to make pizzas out of anything I had around like an English muffin, bagel, naan. It's a good way to use odd ball leftovers. I do this with quesadillas too. 

Beth: I'm from Chicago so I probably shouldn't say this, but Detroit style is my favorite. There's a brand we get from the store that's sooooooooooo good! I still freaking LOVE Giordano's, though...
