All you need to play Wraithound  is two six-sided dice of different colors, a standard deck of cards (jokers included), up to 2 friends (optional) and about 2 hours for a full mission. 

Here's an overview on how to play:

• Create your character by rolling or picking on 5 d66 tables for a name, a drive, a talent, a style, and a trinket.
  
  
• Create your mission by rolling on 2 d66 tables to get a location and the nature of the haunting.
  
  
• Set up your play space by distributing a few cards on a 3x3 grid, representing each room of the manor you'll investigate.
  
  
• Reveal the first cards to learn about the room you just entered, a curiosity you may investigate, and a threat or horror you must face.
  
  
• Ask the Oracle if you want help envisioning the scene or coming up with your theories about the haunting.
  
  
• Get into action to overcome the challenge in front of you. Time to roll some dice!
  
  
• Evaluate your performance, update your notes, and you may even find a secret room!
  
  
• Move on until you find and face the final boss!

It is a deceptively simple framework, but you'll be surprised how well it fosters emergent stories of supernatural investigation through the interplay of evocative prompts, oracle rolls, your character details, and your personal interpretation.  

You can play with physical cards and dice, or online with a dedicated VTT

I envisioned this crowdfunding campaign as a very low-profile one. The game is 80% done, the layout is already figured out, I have all the art I need for the game (by the amazing Kim Holm). 

I want to raise some money while I finish editing the game, and offer it at a discounted price as I do so. As such, here's a quick rundown of what you can expect from it:

• The game text is fully written, apart from the examples of play. After that is done, I'll enter the editing phase.
  
  
• The layout is defined, as you can see from the mockups. Once the text is revised, it won't take long to put everything in place.
  
  
• The VTT and the oracle tool are almost done, just need some polishing.
  
  
• The game will be released regardless of the campaign reaching its funding goal. You will get the game no matter what.
  
  
• There are only two reward tiers: for €10, you get the PDF for the game and a coupon for an optional purchase of the print-on-demand version on Lulu at cost, by yourself. The PoD version will be made available when the revised edition of the game is finished. If you want the VTT access with the automated oracle tool, grab the €13  tier.
  
  
• You can also top off your pledge to generate community copies of the zine for folks who can't afford it.
  
  
• There are no stretch goals. I don't want to over-promise and under-deliver. The more I get from this campaign, the better I'll be able to cover my monthly expenses.
