Rise and Shine Films is a dynamic boutique production house based in Cape Town, South Africa, known for creating original, emotionally resonant films and documentaries that tackle complex social realities with integrity and cinematic flair. Founded by award-winning producer Natalie Geyser, the company has established itself as a champion of independent storytelling across Africa and beyond.

• 🎥 Triomf (Dir. Michael Raeburn) – A gritty adaptation of Marlene van Niekerk’s novel, which screened at the Durban International Film Festival and overseas.

• 🎥 Low Rider – (Dir. Campbell X) - An LGBTQ road-trip movie shot on location in Cape Town, in co-production with Boudica Entertainment, UK

• 🎥 The Cursed Ones (Dir. Nana Obiri Yeboah) – Multi-award-winning feature that premiered at the Pan African Film Festival and went on to screen internationally.

• 🎥 The Quiet One (Dir. Meg Rickards) – A poetic, cross-continental documentary currently in development with confirmed support from the NFVF and GFC, and selected for Sunny Side of the Doc 2025.
