Al Truistic's Beer Bread Bakery hasn't added a story.

Have you ever heard of beer bread? Or tasted it?

Hello, I’m Dave Munro, owner of Al Truistic’s Beer Bread Bakery. By making a purchase of my DIY Craft Beer Kits or other products available below, you will be helping me get back into a commercial kitchen and equip it so I can grow the business.  Additionally between 5 and 10% of the revenues from the sale of my Craft Beer Bread products goes to support OPACC.  Getting back into a commercial kitchen will not only help with the production of my Do It Yourself Craft Beer bread kits but will also help me to roll out my Small Batch Frozen Craft Beer Bread Doughs.

Located in Muskoka, it’s a social enterprise who uses some of the revenues from the sale of their craft beer bread products to support Ontario Parents Advocating for Children with Cancer.  Their focus is on peer support.  At a time when a parent has to be strongest for their child they’re being torn apart inside.  This is a lived experience for me.  My family had no support at one of the most devastating times.  Parents have support now and I want to ensure they have it when they need it.

The budget for this project includes rent and utilities for a year as well as equipment like a 20 Qt mixer, blast freezer, chamber vacuum sealing machine, a commercial convection oven, three compartment sink, hand washing sink and stainless steel work tables as well as rewards for those who pledge.

Al Truistic's Beer Bread Bakery is currently giving between five and ten percent of their revenues from the sale of their Craft Beer bread products to Ontario Parents Advocating for Children with Cancer.  As Revenues increase that percentage will also increase.

Helping families of children with cancer never tasted so good.

Thank You

DIY Craft Beer Bread Kit (bare)
$10 CAD + shipping
Ships to Canada

Your choice of our Honey Garlic Ale kit or Oatmeal Stout kit packaged in a brown paper bag.

The Honey Garlic kit works well with most pale coloured beers except IPA, Pale Ales and English Ales as those beer tend to be bitter.  The bitterness could clash with the sweetness of the honey.

The Oatmeal Stout kit works with most darker, maltier beers like Stouts, Porters, Brown Ales, Red Ales and Dark Lagers but Dark IPAs should be avoided because of the bitterness and this is a sweet bread.

NOTE: Beers brewed with coffee should be avoided as the acidity and sodium content of the coffee kills the yeast and they will not rise.
