MISSION

AC⚡️LV: Arts & Culture Las Vegas is a quarterly print magazine celebrating the creative community that powers Las Vegas.

From artists to acrobats, poets to performers, designers to drag queens, we introduce you to the people behind the spectacle.

Our mission is to elevate local talent, connect readers to the scene, and help sustain the culture happening now.

THE MAGAZINE

AC⚡️LV is a 72-page, oversized print publication (9.25” × 12.5”), produced on full-gloss 100lb paper throughout.

Designed as a true coffee table magazine, each issue is built to be collected, shared, and revisited.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Robin Slonina has been building toward this magazine for nearly three decades.

She began in Chicago, writing for SAIC’s F Magazine and contributing to New Art Examiner, later working as a freelance arts reporter for NPR. As her art career expanded, she traveled internationally creating installations and murals across Europe and the United States.

After relocating to Las Vegas in 2005, she founded Skin City, which grew into one of the largest body art companies in the country. That work led to Skin Wars, the television series she helped create, produce, and judge alongside RuPaul, Craig Tracy, and Rebecca Romijn.

In Las Vegas, Robin became deeply embedded in the arts community, serving on the Arts District board, working as Artist Liaison for Meow Wolf, and founding Slonina ARTSpace in 2023. In just over two years, ARTSpace has exhibited work by more than 400 local creatives.

AC⚡️LV brings that work into print, expanding the definition of “art” to reflect the full creative ecosystem of Las Vegas, including visual artists, performers, writers, designers, choreographers, and behind-the-scenes talent.
