Happiness is key to a fulfilling life, yet it doesn’t always come easy. In fact, mental wellbeing has become a priority for so many—perhaps even for you or someone you love.

That’s why we created the “Laugh Your Way to Happiness” campaign featuring The Ridiculous novels, a series of 9 books—yes a trilogy of trilogies…3 box sets!

Laughing releases happy hormones, massages internal organs, acts as a natural self-health tool, boosts moods and makes you feel good —with no clever pretending. Plus, laughter is within each of us, ready to enjoy. And it can be released at any time. It’s that simple.

Jeff started writing The Ridiculous when he was 15, and he turned 55 in July 2024, which means this DREAM has been 40 YEARS in the making!

It began after he finished his beloved sci-fi comedy series: Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. After it ended, he realized he wanted more in that style of humour—so he wrote his own.

He laughed when he wrote it. He laughed when he read it to his friends. His friends laughed and wanted more…and so on. That’s how the journey began.

It wasn’t a non-stop writing adventure, however. There were days, months, years where no writing happened. Yet, whenever he needed an easy “pick-me-up” he would go back to it, both to reread and to newly write.

Then during the days of covid, with not much else to do, Mindy encouraged Jeff to dive in deep and actually publish his book.

So that’s what he set out to do—with Mindy’s help. Having already been partners for over 2 decades in both life and business, Jeff and Mindy had already figured out how to complement each others strengths. The same holds true here.

Jeff does the writing. Mindy does the development editing. Jeff does the imagining. Mindy does the joke layering. Jeff does the storylines. Mindy amplifies them with subtle hints to help anyone feel good.

Together, they read their work out loud with hopes to make each other laugh, or have a reflective moment. When it works, they move on.

After Jeff’s teenage years, the books took on a new spin. In his younger days, his focus was on the science fiction aspect. However, after more time living life, and spending it with Mindy, the focus changed.

The two of them spent decades “behind-the-scenes” in the fitness and model spaces. At that time they thought happiness was a natural by-product stemming from loving how you look.

So they developed pathways and platforms that empowered anyone to sculpt their physique into that of their own superhero or superstar.

They created a network of systems to incentivize transformation and celebrate results. They hosted hundreds of live events around the world, produced TV shows in multiple continents, published a magazine series that went international, operated a model and talent agency, and created a worldwide community, giving participants their time to shine. In doing so, they revolutionized the fitness landscape, and empowered the transformations of millions.

Regular people went from their ordinary to their extra-ordinary. Many went on to become influencers, specialists, and social media stars.

However, Jeff and Mindy came to discover that looking like a superhero doesn’t equate to feeling like one. External validation does not yield internal joy. Happiness comes from within. So they decided to course correct.

They are doing it in a fun way with The Ridiculous. Having been able to mentor under leading minds in emotional intelligence, empowerment, mindfulness and functional fitness, they are harnessing the power of laughter to plant seeds of self-worth, self-love, and self-health.

In fact, The Ridiculous series introduces mind-bending concepts that Jeff & Mindy themselves aha’d on. And you may too!
