My-Tie will be our first product to be prototyped. We are currently discussing developing our molds and creating our first iterations with our dream manufacturer! While $20,000 feels like a lot, we are investing in the highest quality silicone we can in order to follow our mission for maximum comfort without compromising quality. This campaign will fund the initial mold purchase (approx. $10,000) and then the remainder will be used to pour our first prototype.
After we have our first prototype, we will then send this to our 50 focus group members with a journal to log their experiences with our toy over the course of 2 months. After that 60 days, we collect the journals, and edit our work to fit the feedback we receive. Once we feel like we've hit our best design, we will then move forward in production and distribution.
