In chapter 3 of Aaru En Duat, "Plagued", Commander Azriel Black and her team face their most harrowing mission yet. The Mulran known as Asystole has seeded Panthera with Aberrant plague clusters—grotesque hives that spawn endless swarms of nightmarish creatures. As the planet’s biomes fall to it's corruption, Azriel and her allies must strike deep into hostile territory to plant Laminin bombs capable of dissolving the clusters at their core. With every step forward, the team pushes through poisoned jungles, haunted ruins, and suffocating caverns, hunted by the Aberrant’s deadliest forms. Survival is not guaranteed- even for those that make it out.

This chapter forces Azriel to confront not only the overwhelming odds of the Abberant but also her own vulnerability. As fireteams across Panthera are decimated, she and her squad must dig into every ounce of discipline, sacrifice, and faith they have to stand against annihilation. The battle crescendos in brutal combat that tests bonds of trust. Plagued is a high-stakes chapter about courage, perseverance, and what it means to fight for hope when the darkness feels endless.
