9 Years in the Making!
After I graduated high school in 2017 I decided I wanted to make
video games and movies. Since then I have spent countless hours
learning about how games are made, how they work, are balanced, and
above all what makes a game fun.
After I learned the tech and tools used to make games, I started
working on myself. Leadership, communication, storytelling, and
marketing were my main focuses. Instead of going to collage I
launched several projects and businesses. I learned through my
failures, I learned how to think differently, and build something I
couldn't have previously.
This project has been my most successful project so far. I am a
solo developer and see this as my capstone project. I am
implementing everything I've learned from my previous successes and
failures, stepped away from my ego, and just let the project become
what it was meant to be.
I started development on the 3rd of July, 2026 and launched the
alpha to my friends and family immediately. I have attempted to
balance the experience for all levels of gamers, from the individual
who's never played a video game before to the players who are in the
upper ranks of competitive games.
My goal with this project (and the ones to come) is to build a
new industry standard for the .IO genre. Blob.cool has been built in a way that is
accessible like an .IO game but has been given the attention to
detail that most .IO games lack. This gives the game an elevated
feel while keeping the project inexpensive and approachable.
I am running this campaign to fund the start up costs and to help recuperate the development costs.

The ThinkStation P3 Ultra Small Form Factor Gen 2 (Intel) Workstation
Is what I plan to host my game servers on, it will allow me to own the data and the hardware. Allowing me to not worry about mass data leaks or cyber attacks targeting data centers. This would also give me the ability to only pay the electricity costs rather than rent a fraction of a computer at a huge markup. Lastly it allows me to plan and build as the project scales rather than getting priced out of the project as it grows.
