Highlights
See all activityFirst things first. We're an indie production, and so we need to build our budget in steps and begin work at the same time. This takes a lot of faith, which we have, but it also takes cold hard cash!
IMPORTANT NOTE: We have an agreement with SAG/AFTRA as an "ULB" (Ultra-Low Budget) project. This means we need to make the film for under $300,000.
In this first milestone campaign, we want to raise $50,000, or about the first 16% of the budget. While we work on raising the rest, we'll start laying the pre-production foundation by using these funds to pay for:
- Attracting Name Actors
- Attaching a Director & Production Company
- Completing Promotional/Fundraising Materials/Pitch Decks, etc.
- Securing Locations
- Filming the First Scenes
IF more financing is acquired, we can expand production.
Subsequent Financing Steps
Future financing efforts may include:
--subsequent milestone crowdfunding campaigns with new perks;
--equity crowdfunding (where non-accredited investors can invest in the project for smaller amounts);
--private investment with accredited investors

The Small Town Story
While members of the High Way Church attempt to shut down Madame WuWu’s Cantina on the grounds of “moral decency,” alcoholic exotic dancer Lorraine discovers her daughter Lexi stripp'n for tips to leave town. Lorraine wrangles a ragtag group of misfit barflies together to preserve the cantina and unexpectedly draws Lexi and the church folks into a zany talent show that changes the town forever.
