A Short Documentary 

Genre: Documentary
Runtime: 20 minutes
Status: In Post-Production for the feature film.

  • Immediate Goal: Raise the necessary funding for film to work with PR & Marketing agencies to reach the general public. More importantly, to expand global awareness through our movie, The Tall Boy, of the works of Trinidad & Tobago 'Mas' Creator Peter Minshall, and the way his artistic genius has influenced pop culture and fashion design worldwide.
  • Extended Goal: To fund final editing, licensing, VFX, stock footage, festival submissions and distribution. Restoration of the Callaloo Company and to directly support Peter Minshall.

The Tall Boy is a riveting 20-minute documentary that uncovers the forgotten genius behind the wacky, waving, inflatable figures that conquered pop culture.

Through rare archival footage, striking visual storytelling, and candid interviews, the film explores themes of invention, exploitation, and greed.

💡 Why We’re Making This Film

The Tall Boy is more than a quirky origin story, it’s a mirror reflecting how easily creativity can be celebrated, stolen, or erased. By supporting this film, you’re helping us give voice to an unsung innovator, Peter Minshall and Trinidad and Tobagos contribution to the world. To protect IP's to preserve culture and build a museum worthy structure to house all of Peter Minshalls' creations.
