Why I Started This Project

What if a comic book were more than just a comic? What if it laid the foundation for cinematic storytelling? This project does exactly that.

I’m Zoltan Barati, founder of Digitone Pictures, and I’m creating something innovative and cinematic—a photo-realistic 3D-rendered comic book that leads directly into a high-quality sci-fi short film.

For years, I’ve specialized in cinematic 3D storytelling, but indie filmmakers often face budget limitations, long production times, and restricted previsualization tools. To solve these challenges, I’m developing a cutting-edge, immersive 3D comic book—not only as a standalone sci-fi adventure but as pre-production for a visually stunning animated film.

This two-stage approach ensures every scene, character, and environment is fully designed before animation begins, making production faster, smoother, and cinematic-quality without traditional high costs.

This project will be immersive, fast-paced, and visually striking, featuring high-stakes action, agents and monsters from across the universe, and real-world financial implications woven into the narrative.
