IMAGINE a world in 1965 Liverpool where dreams are born. Envision the humble beginnings of the most successful band in history that changed music forever. Sound familiar? But wait--they're not 4 young lads. They're girls?! 😲
Rebellious and immensely talented teenager “Jennifer Lloyd” (the female version of John Lennon) has that dream. She wants to start her own all-girl rock band, but there are obstacles that threaten to derail her ambitious pursuit. In a male-dominated industry, girl groups like this were unheard of then. Strict parental units completely forbid the idea. There was no access to instruments and no money. Trouble at school didn't help either. What will Jennifer do? Luckily, she meets an incredibly charming student named “Pauline McKinnen” (Paul McCartney's female edition), a musical prodigy who helps Jennifer move towards the goal. Can they make the dream a reality?

As the creator, writer, director, and songwriter of 'The Ladybugz', I want to sincerely thank you for being supportive and excited about our highly-anticipated production. Determined to never give up, I have been working diligently to get this original PG-13/TVMA comedy-drama filmed and in front of your eyes since 2022.
