Hello friends, I'm Calyx from Calyx Creative. I'm a Variety (Craft and Gaming) and Charity streamer on Twitch. If you've been following me for a while, you know that I have a huge passion/obsession with Avocados and am always up for being "HYPU'd" up or bring that "HYPU" to other folks. With that being said... I chatted with Slaker Merch and we thought, "PINS! They'd be cute and can be with you everywhere!" Bring Pascal, the avocado mascot, and/or the HYPU with you - wherever you go! How magical does that sound?

Project Info

Pascal and HYPU totally represent CalyxCreative's community.  How better to show off being in her community than a collectable enamel pin.  Unlike much of Calyx's merch, enamel pins cannot be created on demand for the order.  To be able to order a stock of these pins, we are crowd funding by offering pre-orders on this platform.

This is an all or nothing campaign.  If we don't hit our goal of $300 you will not be charged for the pins.  Once we hit the goal of $300 you will automatically be charged.

The Pins

All pins will be manufactured as soft enamel pins with a premium backer card.  The pins will measure 1.25" and have one or two posts with rubber backers.  If we meet the minimum goal of $300 the pascal pin will be produced.  When the campaign is over and the pins have arrived from the manufacturer you will receive a backer survey in the email you provided at checkout.  You will be able to choose which pin you want to receive at that point.

Pascal Pin - Goal: $300

This pin will be about 1.25" and made from soft enamel.  The metal will be black nickel and will have one rubber clutch on the back.

HYPU Pin - Goal: $425

Hitting this stretch goal of $425 will allow us to also produce this HYPU soft enamel pin with nickel plating.  The pin will be 1.25" and have 2 rubber clutches on the back.  If we hit this goal, you will have a choice of which pin you want for your order when the backer surveys go out.

NEW Stretch Goal: Calyx Balls Pins! - Goal: $625

For making it to $425, we are adding another stretch goal for a 3rd pin.  The Calyx Balls emote soft enamel pin is produced with black nickel plating.  The pin will be 1.25" and have 1 rubber clutch on the back. If we hit this goal, you will have a choice of which pin you want for your order when the backer surveys go out.

Shipping and Taxes

Since we don't know where you will want to ship these pins when they arrive from the manufacturer we are choosing to not charge shipping or taxes during the crowd funding phase.  Instead when the pins arrive from the manufacturer, you will receive a backer survey from Slaker Merch.  At this point you will be prompted to pay for shipping and taxes based upon where you want the pins shipped to.  US Domestic Shipping will be between $5 and $8 and international shipping will be between $15 and $20.

Timeline

The timeline for producing the pins will be as follows:

• The crowdfunding campaign will run for 30 days from October 21st, 2022 to November 20th
• Production will start the week of November 21 and could last up to 20 days
• Backer Surveys will go out the week of December 12th or when the pins have arrived from the factory and been inspected
• Each pin will be shipped after you fill out the survey

Due to the holidays and shipping delays we cannot guarantee that the pins will arrive before Christmas but we will try our hardest

Risks

Here are some of the risks involved with backing this project.  Slaker Merch will do everything possible to minimize the risks to backers.

• End of the year production delays could interfere with the timeline
• Manufacturing defects could cause delays.  Slaker Merch is working with a reputable vendor and has successfully produced several enamel pin projects.

If delays occur, Slaker Merch will inform backers with an email and provide a new estimated timeline for backer surveys.
