Our story so far...

It has only been about eleven hours since the explosion first destroyed the "Our Lady of the Sea" church, back in issue 1. Which released the deadly "Kerawa Virus" into the atmosphere and over this "fly-speck" of an island and its 2,402 inhabitants. The plus one being the newly arrived U.S. Navy Ensign, Alex Sands, who was sent to "babysit" Dr. Parke and his "eggheads" from Woodham University. Right before all hell broke loose!

As the morning dawns over Solo Island and the hurricane finally blows out to sea. Our surviving heroes are scattered about on their last legs. Tired, wounded, desperate and fighting off the virus as well as each other.

They are met with a horn blast from the approaching passenger ferry on its first scheduled crossing of the day. For the BERSERKERS, this is their dinner bell. For our heroes, that boat can not dock or it spells certain doom for all on-board and beyond these shores.

This final 45 page completed issue is jammed packed with chaos, death and destruction! Fans of the series will be flipping pages faster than waves crashing. With an ending that will leave you aghast with a lump in your throat and tears in your eyes.

WHERE IS SOLO ISLAND?

Solo Island is "tiny flyspeck," several miles off the coast of Massachusetts. This 8 sq mile island homes 2401 inhabitants. The population has been dwindling post WW2.

The history of Solo Island begins in 1602, when Captain Bartholomew Gosnold of his ship, the Concord, was exploring the Atlantic Ocean when they happened upon this small island. He originally named it after his eldest daughter, Martha- hence "Martha's Vineyard." However, the name was later transferred to a larger island, located five miles away which is now named Martha's Vineyard.

From there, this "fly-speck" of an island was coined "Solo" due to its remote location and size. A small group of settlers were the first to land there in 1685. The local Indian tribe, the KERAWA primarily lived on Martha's Vineyard, but considered Solo Island also theirs. Over the years there had become more and more disputes between the settlers and the Kerawa's.

That all changed during Prohibition when Rum-Running in the area became a hot spot. The growing small town of Solo Island utilized members of the Kerawa Tribe to aid in these illegal missions. Once the U.S. Government got to be wise to things, they sent a U.S. Treasury Agent out to investigate in 1931. Shortly after his arrival, he was never heard from again- various legends around his disappearance evolved, some said he had become a crazed, raving lunatic. Others say tribe members were ordered to murder and dispose of the body. Eventually the limited investigation into the Agent's disappearance became cold.

Nineteen years later, Anthropologist Dr. Parke was hired by the Treasury Agent's family to uncover an area that had been known as a Kerawa burial ground. After much politicizing of this missing agent over the years and the lack of investigation by the U.S. Government. Dr. Parke and his associates were allowed to travel to the island and perhaps finally uncover the mystery.

Once the campaign ends and processed by CROWDFUNDR. The comic files will be then sent to our printer, ComixWellSpring which will take approximately 2-3 weeks. It  will take another week or so for all of the items to ship. You should receive the rewards in JULY 2023. We'll continue to send out updates as  manufacturing and fulfillment is happening and completed.

SHIPPING CHANGES;

Postage will be FIRST CLASS or PRIORITY for OVERSEAS. DOMESTIC will be shipped as PRIORITY or MEDIA MAIL. These do carry tracking numbers which you will be alerted to once the package is scanned. AS ALWAYS, ANY PACKAGE THAT ARRIVES DAMAGED OR MISSING WILL BE REPLACED. GUARANTEED. 

OVERSEAS ORDERS;

The UK as of Jan 2021 has instated a VAT tax. Currently, we are  not signed up for it and so far things have been okay. We may have to  apply, depending if multiple orders begin to ship back. We would  only make  this change on a new campaign.

Canada also has a $6.95 duties tax for materials entering the  country. This can either be paid now, or your reward will be held at  customs until the backer pays the fee. We decided to go ahead and  add that into your shipping cost. This way it should be a smooth  transaction. From what we have found, it does make it easier on the purchaser.

This is why we like having a bunch of STRETCH GOALS and  smaller ADD-ONs for you all. Because we can add these in and it  doesn't raise the overall shipping price typically. Thank you and if you have any questions, please message us.
