Why I Started This Project
Thrillers keep you on the edge of your seat. Sci-fi expands the limits of imagination. This project combines both, creating a high-stakes, cinematic short film that delivers pulse-pounding suspense and stunning visual storytelling.
I’m Zoltan Barati, founder of Digitone Pictures, and I specialize in cinematic 3D storytelling, pushing the boundaries of what indie sci-fi can achieve. This short film is the next stage of an ambitious project, starting with a photo-realistic 3D sci-fi comic book that serves as pre-production for the film.
The comic book lays the foundation, ensuring the characters, environments, and cinematic sequences are fully developed before animation begins, making production faster, smoother, and more cost-efficient without sacrificing quality.
The Story
A highly classified machine with unimaginable power has fallen into the wrong hands. Agents from Earth and beyond are racing against time to either control, destroy, or unleash its capabilities, but shadowy forces lurk in the background, watching, manipulating, and waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
