Sitting behind the desk while working for the richest corporate company I realised that this is not what I want my life to look like. I started dreaming and I found a huge passion in pottery.
I still have a long way to go as I am still more or less in the learning process (as you can see down below :) however, to be able to learn and progress, I actually have to DO pottery. The easiest and only way for me to get doing this is unfortunately to invest and build my own studio as my hometown, and probably any town in my home country, does not offer such perks as sharing a pottery studio.
There is very few people in my surroundings to whom this all makes sense. I know, doing crafts and hard work are no longer in fashion, but I cannot stop thinking about it. So, creating this project I am hoping to inspire people to pursue their dreams, but also share my passion for pottery, doing crafts and inspire people to learn and work with their bare hands.
As you can see from the pictures, I have already started learning, but I am at the end of a rather expensive course and to be able to learn and progress I have to build my own studio. There is no other way around it, but to build one. I have always been told what cannot be achieved and that I should rather stop dreaming, get back to reality and give up my dreams. With or without someone's help, I am not willing to this time.
All the funds will be used to cover costs as a kiln, pottery wheel, clay, glazes, table, chair, tools like brushes, carving tools, rolling pin and tools necessary to do pottery.
What I can offer you in return is hopefully one day your very own handmade coffee cup or mug from me; depending on what you actually drink!
