After witnessing the death of a friend at a very young age, experiencing the trauma of my parents divorce and my father moving out of state, I was then forced to attend  several different schools where I was bullied on a regular basis.  These tragedies caused a reading block and failing grades, that is until one teacher recognized the trauma I was going through and  took it upon herself to teach me how to read every day after school.  The following year I was on the honor roll.  This one act of kindness made all the difference in my life.  Having discovered a love of reading, I was inspired to write poems to friends and family members in hopes to comfort them through some of their trials and tribulations in an effort to scatter seeds of kindness. 

I have written stories throughout my life including my first published book entitled, The Kinder Garden which depicts a of group of characters living in a garden full of selfishness and bullying that won't seem to grow.  Sometimes children as well as adults can hurt others with their words and actions.  When this happens no one feels good about it. Then a wise owl gives them a bible and they implement the fruit of the spirit in this garden and a change begins to happen in these characters, and in turn the garden begins to grow.  Just like the book, when we plant seeds of kindness we not only make others feel good but we begin to feel good about ourselves. 

 I also use these same principles to teach unique, creative and  fun art projects for bullied and traumatized children using sea glass and pebbles. I would love to bring my other titles  to print for distribution as well as fund the art classes.  Due to the hidden dark agenda in children's animation, I have recently had the The Kinder Garden  animated and it is  available on YouTube. I would like to animate my other titles as well.

 Knowing how much children love puppet shows, I would love to bring all my books to life by hosting live puppet shows and performances at schools, church events, camps and children's events across the country but all of  this cost money. I think most people can see the demoralization of our country and the alarming  bullying problem we have.  We can't solve all children's problems but we can make a difference.   It takes a village however to do this.  I am asking you for your contribution  so we can make this project a reality and  give children a more positive outlook on their lives.  Thank you and God bless you for doing your part.
